Summit Delta
I think in life it’s always best to put a face and a name to everything. Any Tom, Dick or Harry can pop up a shop and try to flog their merch, but without knowing their story, their reasoning and most importantly – them, it’s difficult to care.
So with that in mind, I’m not Tom, Dick or Harry, I’m Dan. A twenty nine year old Army Veteran, who returned to civilian life in 2013, and for many years struggled to acclimatise back into the everyday monotonous routine of a 9-5 life. I always loved being outdoors as a kid and it was one of the main reasons I joined the Infantry, but it wasn’t until I was no longer forced to be outside everyday as part of my job that I realised how much I needed it.
In the past 4 years, I have taken every spare moment to be outside, whether that’s climbing Snowdon at 5am with my best friend, dragging my girlfriend up Moel Famau for a Sunday stroll,or even to embarking on the challenge of a lifetime last year and walking from London to Manchester to raise money for charity. In fact, if I’m not in work, I can always been found outside.
Over the years I have bought A LOT of kit and as an ex-squaddie, I pride myself on always having ‘good kit’, that for me means three things, good quality, comfortable and well designed!
I want to use my experience of the outdoors, as well as my eye for design to create a new bespoke brand of outdoor wear that you could easily wear to pop down to the pub, but most importantly, be used in the outdoors.
Summit Delta is a passion of mine and each new product line will be subject to rigorous testing to make sure I am 100% happy. If this is ticking all your boxes and sounds like a brand, a name and a face you can get on board with, I’d love for you to follow along.
