I started ECHO Company as a follow on from Fenland Bushcraft. I wanted to take the Great Outdoors to more people and to show individuals and families that you can have fun and improve both mental and physical health from spending time outside. We do curriculum based activities outside on school fields, we take community groups outdoors so they can try new skills. We also support Heritage events with re-enactors that we have worked with in the past. We also support historical and archaeological activities in the area.
We are really pleased to be working with some great people; HCC (Heritage, Culture & Community) Projects on an archeological/historical project. A local school where we have designed and are building a 4 acre outdoor education/sports field. A local community group that we applied for funding for and have built a shed which will run a Mens Shed activity that’s not just for men. We are also working with Bushcraftlab UK where we have developed the
#microadventure Family Bag and are currently doing instructional videos with some of their kit, these are on their YouTube channel. We are also running Family Fun Days at a local campsite, The Secret Garden Touring Park in Wisbech.
If you haven’t had the chance to meet us yet then keep an eye out at some of the shows we attend, you wont miss our Project Harry, the green 1985 Land Rover 90.
