Tony Umpleby BA (Hons) DTLLS MSET Former Soldier who worked for 13 years in a variety of theatres. Serving as a Physical Training instructor for the last five years before moving on to become a Personal Safety Trainer for the Home office delivering a wide range of subjects from Human Rights, use of force, De-escalation and Conflict Management. Have also worked in Prisons as a Physical Education officer and NHS and Probation Services as a Substance use accredited Training Officer and Education to employment Officer. Have also worked in Childrens services as a Leaving care worker and schools as an alternative Curriculum Specialist which led to working with Nottingham safeguarding Childrens Board delivering training for Designated Senior Persons in schools and also moved on to Adult Safeguarding delivering Mental Capacity, Deprivation of Liberty and Adult safeguarding Training, Development and Consultations. I have been self employed as a Freelance Trainer and what prompted me to set up own company was realising I wanted to commit myself to delivering high quality training that met the needs of the Client providing a Personalised service. I specialise in Social Care Mandatory Courses, First Aid, Behaviours that Challenge, Mental capacity act, Safeguarding adults, Communication Skills, De-escalation and Breakaway Techniques.
