The Chief Instructor of AR Krav Maga is Tony Robinson. Tony is an Expert Level 1 Instructor (1st Degree Black Belt) in Krav Maga. For fun, Tony trains in Royce Gracie Jiu-jitsu under professor Jon Hegan and Brazilian jiu-jitsu here in Norwich with Simon Gooch. To broaden his skill set he also trains with self-defence experts such as Randy King and Rory Miller author of Meditations on Violence. Tony completed most of his Graduate level gradings in Israel including more recently his Expert Test at the Wingate Institute Netanya. Learning authentic Krav Maga, training and testing at its source in Israel has always been an important part of his learning journey. He started instructing Krav Maga in 2014 after completing his General Instructors Course (GIC) with Krav Maga Global (KMG) renowned for being the most comprehensive self-defence instructors training course in the world. He served in the British Army for over 30 years reaching the rank of Captain, most of which was in the elite Royal Army Physical Training Corps, before deciding to leave the Armed Forces to focus on teaching Self-defence. He has served in Iraq, the Balkans and Afghanistan. He also has a BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation, so you will be in safe hands, and an MSc in Strength & Conditioning so with his coaching you will soon be feeling Safer, Fitter, Smarter and Always Ready.
